Outdoorlads have stayed with us twice now. This time it was a group of 12. Here’s what they had to say.
The boathouse sleeps 12. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living space meant the whole group could eat and relax together in one place. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. There was also plenty of hot water after long walks and sea swims.
Cwmtydu itself was a big part of it. The cove is a few yards from the door, so the group fitted in more than one swim a day. On top of that, the Wales Coast Path is right outside, which made the boathouse a good base for walking and exploring the Cardigan Bay coastline. They also mentioned the sunsets.
They picked out the building’s design too. The eco-friendly construction sits into the landscape without giving up any comfort. On warm evenings, they opened the large doors and ate outside with sea views.
Parking was no problem for a group this size. Overall, they felt the whole place had been thought through for group stays.
Their conclusion: for family, friends or a walking group, Ty Cwch is hard to beat. So, they’d recommend it.
