We're very pleased that Ty Cwch has been given the Mid Wales Tourism Award for Innovation.
The judges commented that Ty Cwch has been built, "Using local materials, knowledge and experience, and offers unique, contemporary, warm and dry accommodation alongside facilities suited to outdoor activities. The build cost and energy consumption are low, and materials were recycled or sourced locally wherever possible."
Ty Cwch, Cwmtydu near Llandysul received the award at a glittering awards ceremony held at The Hafren, Newtown, which was attended by Deputy Minister for Culture, Sport and Tourism, Lord Elis-Thomas. Compere was Welsh tourism personality Jonathan Jones, CBE.
