Children: Children are very welcome at all accommodation. Infant 0-3 years, Child 4-15 years, Adult 16+

Pets: A maximum of two well behaved dogs are welcome if you've booked all the cabins. Dogs are not allowed in the sleeping cabins.

Smoking: Smoking is only permitted outside the building.

Barbecue: Please use the electric barbecue on the boatdeck below the sails. Barbecue equipment is available to use in the firepit area. At very dry times of year you might be advised by the local inhabitants to not light a fire.

Accepted Payment Methods: Most cards are accepted.

Check In & Check Out Times: Earliest check in is 4.00pm. Latest check in is 8.00pm.  We ask that you check out by 10.00am.

Bedding: Each mattress has a fitted sheet, two pillows and a single duvet. You need to provide a duvet cover and pillow cases.

Other Policies

Our Minimum stays depend on the season. Check-In days are as follows:

3 Nights Weekend (Friday to Monday)
4 Nights Midweek (Monday to Friday)
7 Nights Week Stay (Monday or Friday Check-in)

If you have a specific day or duration that you'd like to book that differs from the above then please contact us to enquire as we may be able to offer some flexibility (subject to season & availability).

Payment: We require a 25% deposit at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 8 weeks before your stay.
The payment for the remaining balance will be processed 8 weeks before your stay using your original payment card. If you would prefer to use a different payment card, please let us know before the balance is due.

For bookings made within 8 weeks of your stay we require full payment.

Written confirmation of cancellation is required. The 25% deposit will be refunded if cancellation is made more than eight weeks before arrival. 50% of the booking fee will be refundable if cancellation is more than 4 weeks before arrival. The fee is not refundable if cancellation is less than 4  weeks before arrival, except where cancellation results from ‘force majeure’, (an act of God, fire, flood, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather, war, threat of war, or act of terrorism).

Group Bookings: For Group bookings of 10 or more guests we will need to process a security deposit of £300 two weeks before your stay via a credit card. This will be refunded as soon as all accommodation & any other areas you have used have been checked for damage or loss.

It will also cover any additional cleaning costs that may have been incurred as a result of your stay, so we ask that all accommodation & communal areas you use are left exactly as you found them.


Guests are requested to be considerate of others. Inappropriate or anti-social behaviour may lead to removal from Ty Cwch without a refund.

After 10.30 we ask that guests keep noise to a minimum.

We highly recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance at the time of booking any break with us.
